The Easier Technologies Security Integration Layer allows us to directly integrate with existing security wrapper and/or UNITY ID technologies that are often employed within the university environment. This functionality is targeted at minimizing the proliferation of user id’s and passwords that can occur within a large organization.
Additionally, this module can be customized to include links external security and safety documentation that is already in use within your organization. In this way the EHS Compliance Suite can act as a hub to many of your compliance initiatives. |

The EHS Compliance Suite
provides a searchable, role based environment that simplifies
the data gathering process associated with lab management. Lab users can only see and do things based on the permissions (roles) assigned to them by the plan administrator. Through this mechanism the system provides added security and access as appropriate. |

Built into the Easier Compliance Suite is a lab contact manager. This tool allows lab users to view and maintain key contact information regarding lab location, department, Principal Investigators, authorized users, and emergency contacts. This information is then available throughout the suite's reporting features. |

Within the Easier Compliance Suite we realize that it is important to build in systems that facilitate communication between the EHS department and lab users. The Target Equipment and Chemical Survey Systems allow EHS representatives to quickly identify which labs are in possession of a particular set of chemicals or equipment of interest. From within the administrative interface compliance officer can add to the list of target items. Once they are done the change is immediately visible in every plan. As Investigators and technicians update their information the results are immediately available and searchable by EHS. This tool is built in a modular fashion that allows Easier Technologies to extend this functionality to include other types of target information. We look to members of our Partnership Program to provide us with insight regarding new ways to implement and extend the functionality of our system. |

Integrated into the Easier Compliance Suite is a chemical inventory module that is designed to manage the new Department of Homeland Security Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards. This regulation requires universities to track hazardous chemical inventories across all their distributed labs. Within our system users have easy access to a simple interface that allows them to track their chemical inventories. Then within the administrative interface this data is converted to DHS's preferred unit of measure and aggregated. This allows EHS departments to quickly and easily identify how they stand with regard to DHS site wide quantities. |

At Easier technologies we know that even the most comprehensive design might occasionally require special or custom information. In order to accommodate the diverse needs of our clientele we have provided an attachment management system within our Easier Compliance Suite. If you have custom information you need to include in your Chemical Hygiene Plan simply attach the document through our interface. It accepts images, MS Office documents, and PDF's. |

Easier Technologies is committed to making your data available to you when and where you need it.If you do not currently possess an MSDS service but would like to be able to manage your MSDS's electronically we can help.We have developed an add-on module that will allow individual organizations to upload their existing hard copy MSDS's into our database, where they can be accessed directly through our system. Emergency Responders will be able to pull up MSDS files before arriving on scene because these files are linked directly to the chemical inventory data provided in the Emergency Response Interface. |
